Section 06
Wallet & Payments
Your Poriume wallet is a prepaid credit balance used to pay for services on the platform. It is not a bank account and does not attract interest.
Funding your wallet:
Transfer funds to your dedicated virtual account (9Payment Service Bank) — credits are automatic and near-instant.
Via payment gateways as made available on the platform from time to time.
Wallet rules:
Wallet funds can only be used to purchase services on Poriume.
Wallet-to-wallet transfers are available where enabled.
Wallet balances are non-transferable to external bank accounts except where a formal withdrawal/refund process has been approved by Poriume support.
Poriume is not liable for wallet funding delays caused by the user's bank, payment gateway downtime, or network failures outside Poriume's control.
Section 07
Virtual Account
Upon successful KYC verification, each user is assigned a dedicated virtual account number issued by 9Payment Service Bank (powered by PayVessel). This account is unique to you and is used exclusively for funding your Poriume wallet.
Do not use your Poriume virtual account to receive money on behalf of others.
Do not use your virtual account for any purpose other than funding your Poriume wallet.
Poriume is not liable for funds sent to an incorrect virtual account due to user error.
Virtual accounts may be closed when your Poriume account is deleted (see our Account Deletion Policy).
Section 08
BVN / NIN Usage
We Do NOT Store or Access Your BVN / NIN
Your BVN/NIN is used solely to generate your virtual bank account as mandated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). It is transmitted directly and securely to 9Payment Service Bank / PayVessel and is never stored on Poriume's servers. Poriume has no access to your BVN or NIN.
By providing your BVN or NIN for virtual account generation, you:
Confirm that the BVN/NIN you provide is your own and is accurate.
Acknowledge that submission is a CBN regulatory requirement for virtual account issuance.
Consent to its transmission to our licensed banking partner (9Payment Service Bank / PayVessel) for the purpose of account creation only.
Providing false, stolen, or third-party BVN/NIN information is a violation of Nigerian law and these Terms, and will result in immediate account suspension and may be referred to relevant authorities.
Section 09
Refunds & Failed Transactions
Successfully delivered services are non-refundable. Once an airtime top-up, data purchase, electricity token, or cable TV subscription has been successfully delivered to the specified recipient, no refund will be issued.
Failed or undelivered transactions:
If a transaction is debited from your wallet but the service is not delivered within 24 hours, your wallet will be automatically reversed or credited.
If automatic reversal does not occur, please contact support at [email protected] with your transaction reference number.
Reversals are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
Incorrect information:
Poriume is not responsible for transactions processed with incorrect details provided by the user (e.g., wrong phone number, wrong meter number, wrong smartcard number).
We recommend verifying all recipient details before confirming any transaction.
Double-Check Before You Submit
Always verify the phone number, meter number, or smartcard number before submitting a transaction. Transactions with incorrect beneficiary details cannot be reversed once delivered.
Section 10

Poriume operates a referral programme that allows users to earn bonus credits by inviting others to join the platform. The referral programme is subject to the following conditions:

A bonus of ₦500 is earned if your referred user upgrades to an Agent or Vendor account.
Referral bonuses are credited to your wallet only after admin approval following a "Get Paid" request.

Poriume reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate the referral programme at any time.
Fraudulent referral activity will result in permanent account suspension.
